DOOM 3

In DOOM3, we take a look at the performance of this card in VISTA. We ran the card in its various resolutions at its default settings and changing the resolution within DOOM3. (demo1 ran 3 times).

The card is ran at 1600x1200. Again we compared the difference between Gen 1 vs Gen 2. This time round, the results seems a bit more encouraging then 3Dmark05/06 which were run at 1024x768 and 1280x1024 respectively.

We get a 2fps improvement, scoring 171.7 fps against 169.5fps on the Generation 1 platform.

In full AA/AF test, we are still able to get a very playable frame rate of 84.4fps.
