3DMark05

The Gigabyte FV-NX88S512H-B is based on the reference design. So it looks exactly like the original NV ref card. We tested the card on a Gigabyte P35T-DQ6 with DDR3-1066.

In both 3Dmark05 and 3Dmark06 tests, we ran the card with Intel QX9770 on Gigabyte p35T-DQ6 mainboard. The first test is done based on it's original clk of 650/972 (core/mem) at 3.2GHz (CPU). In the 2nd test, we overclock the card using Ntune to 810/1000. Although it can do 830/1100, it is rather unstable.

In the third test, we overclock the CPU to 4.2GHz at 420x10 and the GPU stays at 810/1000.

We can see that from the default clocks to 810/1000, a 4.8% increase is registered. When we overclock the CPU and graphics card, it reached 23504 mark, a jump of 21.9% is recorded.

3DMark06

The same test is done using 3Dmark06 as the benchmark. By default clk, the test give a result of 13699. When overclocked, it reached 14974, an almost 150 points increase or 9%. With the processor overclocked, it jumped 12% to 15471.
