EPOX EP-AT690G Pro IGP mainboard (AMD 690G) Review - Overclocking
Bluetooth 11 Jan 2007

Overclocking

Initial results shows that we are able to run the 4000+ at 2.7GHz (270x10) with HT set to 4x and memory setting is at 400. The interesting fact is that the BIOS will auto set it to the minimum DDR2 setting, which is DDR400 CAS 5, 5-5-15-2T. Thus, when you o/c the CPUCLK upwards with the default multiplier, the DDR is actually running in SYNC.

As shown in the gallery pages, we just increased the voltage of the CPU to 1.45v and DDR to 2.2v. The board runs stable at 270x10 for my X2 4000+. That is with an external graphics card installed.

The board can boot but suffers from cold boot symptons at 280MHz x10.

As ATitool couldn't recognise it and there  we were unable to overclock the integrated GPU. If you know of any tool that can overclock it, please let us know.
