ECS N8800GTS-320MX (8800GTS) DX10
Graphics card Review benchmarks
- 3Dmark05 and 3Dmark06
Benchmarks 3DMark05 In this test, we ran the card in default clk settings at 575/900 and at o/c speed of 600/850 using systool. On inspection, the card actually defaults to 513/792. As we know the RAM used is a 1.1ns GDDR3, chances of reaching above 900MHz is pretty high. At defaults, the card scored 15019 in 3Dmark05. A 8800GTX which costs almost doubled will give you a score of ~ 16685. In terms of price/performance, this card is probably quite worthwhile as the ASUS EAX 1950pro only score 10545 verses a 15019 on the ECS N8800GTS-320MX, the lowest end 8800 series card. When overclocked to 610/1000, we can see that the scores reached beyond the 16K mark. That is pretty impressive I would say. The score is even better than a GF8800GTX running with a QX6700 as shown in the chart. 3DMark06 In 3DMark06, the score are very apparent too. The default stock speed sets the record of 8639.
From the results, we can see that it has surpassed the ATi X1950XTX by almost 30% in this test. That is really an impressive score. The difference between the 8800GTS-320MX and the 8800GTX 768M is 23% When overclocked, it shot up to 10008, that is 15.8% increase.
