In the game PREY, the results are 47.7, 27 and 12.7fps in various AA/AF combinations at 1600x1200. Prey results shows that the card is not as fast as a 7900GT and a X1950pro which score 55.8 and 38.6fps.

As for the 8600GT, the results are lower than that of the 8600GTS cards. This game might run well under normal AA/AF at 1600x1200. It will be better to play this game at a lower resolution.
