First
off, the almighty 3DMark! Well, it’s not a game, but still a neat tool as a
performance indicator, therefore it’s granted a place to be part of my benchmark
selection. 3DMark are ran two times for each test, once on XP and once on Vista.
All tests are ran with 3dmark default settings and resolution. The test results
shows nVidia’s vista driver are doing pretty well, the cards performance is a
little lagging behind in vista but still quite comparable with as in Windows XP
environment. 3dmark06 actually shows smaller performance gap between the two
test runs.
