3DMark05

In this test, we ran the card in default clk settings at default clk of 743/828 and also the ovreclocked 850/850. At the default timings, we noticed that the scores are amazing. In fact, the score did not surprise me as ATi always scored better in 3Dmark05.

The score of 17778 triumps over all the other cards tested before. An ovreclocked score of 17950 gave it a 9% boost in this benchmark. This card is also way faster than it's DX9 brother, the X1950XTX by 36%.

3DMark06

In 3DMark06, the HD Radeon 2900XT scored 10437 points at default clk and 11178 at o/c 850/850. The default score of 10547 puts it on par with the 8800GTX reference card and Gigabyte 8800GTX graphics card.

Comparing the SM2 results, the ASUS EAH2900XT is slightly weaker with 4564 versus 4821 on the 8800GTX. When it comes to HDR/SM3, the ASUS EAH2900XT is almost the same as the 8800GTX.

When it comes to overclocking, the factory overclocked ASUS EN8800GTX Aquatank still leads in this test with a X6800. The o/c ASUS EAH2900XT at 850/850 only scored 11178 which is 200 points below the Aquatank.
