Introduction

ASRock takes the plunge in delivering another top notch mATX board feature built in video. ALIVENF7G-HDREADY (nvidia 7050-630a) as its name reveals that it is a board for HD video playback. According to its spec sheet, the board is able to playback 720p H.264 movies with ease at lower CPU utilisation in contrast to competiting chipsets. The board also comes with PS3.0 support with a max share memory of 256MB. The board is able to decode HDCP encrypted movies. You can also enable surround video to support two outputs at the same time without the need of  an additional graphics card.

On top of these features, the board comes with GbE, 1394, Purevideo support. It can also support DDR2-800 of up to 8GB, NCQ 3Gb/s 4xSATAII RAID 0,1,5,0+1. It alkso comes with Dual VGA output port DVI-D and a D-SUB.
