Hopefully, once you've completed the mod, your card will look something like this.

Looks (& sounds) like it's working OK! Give it several hours playback to allow burn in before making a judgment on the sound.

In conclusion, this is a fantastic mod for very little cost. The result is truly a night & day comparison with the original X-Fi. Be proud that you now have a studio-quality sound card for the price of a consumer one!
