PCmark2005 tests a number of important items in today's computing world. File Compression, Encryption, Decryption, Audio Conversion, Web Page Rendering, WMV Video Compression, DivX Video Compression, Physics Calculation and 3D, Graphics Memory etc.

Although the Gigabyte board is based on the 965P, it seems to be a weaker than its earlier chipsets namely the 975x and 945p in this test. I would feel that that it could be due to tuning issues of the BIOS.
