Benchmarks - 3Dmark05 and FEAR

For completeness, we emclose gaming benchmarks. As game demos or benchmarks are not 'quad-ready', it should not be seen as a weakness of the CPU. Once gaming applications are able to take advantage of quad cores, performance will generally be improved.

3DMark2005 scores is more graphical intensive. As we know, NV+NV usually gives better 3D performance. This seems to be true on the 680i board when paired up with the graphics card. A score of 9328 is recorded against the 9274 on the 965P board.

We present 3Dmark05 and FEAR benchmarks below.

Below are the scores of FEAR demo running in MAX/MAX configuration. 81fps is recorded for both ECS PN2 SLI2+ and Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6.
