Corsair TWIN2X2048-8500C5 review 4/4
Conclusion Corsair once again delivered a product that performs to specs and in fact, works slightly better than the spec especially in low latency. In fact, the collaboration with NVIDIA to come out with the EPP specification is a good start for companies to work on specifics of ram for performance on particular chipsets and memory modules. The push for DDR2-1200 is still ongoing, although we are not very successful in obtaining stability at DDR2-1200, but only at DDR2-1160, I think this is a good start to see DDR2 module being able to run in SYNC with processors at 300MHz x multiplier. The 3 tests done proves that the modules scales very well whether it is low latency or set to perform for high bandwidth. For users who needs DDR2-1066 to be used with the Pentium 4 XE processors, it should work to the specifications and probably with a just a bit more voltage, DDR2-1200 should be attainable. Overall, the modules shows great flexibility in settings and I would highly recommend to high end users who wish to tap the memory at its full speed.
