ASRock AM2V890-VSTA is the first AM2 supporting board based on the VIA K8T890 chipset paired with 8237A SB. This board supports the Socket 940 AM2 processor and supports HT up to 1GHz. It comes with 4 DIMM DDR2-800 slots supporting up to 8GB. It has 1 PCIe x16, 1 PCIex4 and 1 PCIe x1. There are 2 SATA 1.5Gb/s supporting RAID 0,1,JBOD and HOT PLUG function. HDMI_SPDIF header, providing SPDIF audio output to HDMI VGA card, allows the system to connect HDMI Digital TV/projector/LCD devices. The board comes with 7.1 Channel with High Definition Audio, 10/100 Ethernet LAN too.
