Futuremark 3DMark2006

At default, it score 4473. This new Benchmark seems to have included CPU scores into its final score. In our tests, it can be seen that a Dual Core processor would give at least around 800 to 1000 points more because the CPU score is higher.

In o/c mode, the score is just push up by around 300 points. When set in CrossFire mode, it scored 6359. In an extra test to verify, we ran a p4 3.46GHz 955 processor and was able to get 5000+ over points using a single card.

ATi X1900XT will start appearing in retail on the 24 Jan 2006. This short preview gives you a rough estimation of the performance against the 7800GTX Normal and SLI setup. From what we can see so far, the performance level is pretty well above the levels of a 7800GTX 256M card in both single and SLI mode.
