In the next few pages, we will present the benchmarks comparing the X1950 XTX with the ASUS EN7900GT. It will be followed by official benchmarks from ATi. As we only have half a day with the card, we only run the card in standalone mode.

Our test system comprises of the following:

ASUS P5W DH Deluxe with 2GB of DDR2-800. A X6800 2.93GHz CPU is used thoughout the test.

The card doesn't seem to o/c that well. With anything beyond 675MHz, it will return with a fault reporting screen. In fact when we ran the benchmark at 675MHz Core clk, the temperature recorded after the 3DMark06 test is around 72 deg celsius.
