Benchmarks - DVD Shrink

DVD Shrink 3.2 is a common software that is used by video buffs who loves to archive their favourite DVDs from the DL 9GB disc into the more commonly found 4.7GB DVD +-R disc.

In this test, we convert our DVD, Terminator 2 Extreme Edition DVD from DVD9 to DVD5 format using auto setting and video preview enabled. Below are the timings recorded using the two difference processor. The shorter it takes to complete, the better it is.

From the chart, the results are quite a a pleasing one. The results are comparable to the ECS Pn2 SLI2+. It is also faster than the i965P board. The surprise is from the ASRock. I have to point out that the ASRock runs at DDR2-533 (CAS 3.,3-3-8,1T) while the 3 other boards runs at DDR2-800 CAS 5, 5-5-18, 2T cmd.
