Benchmarks PCmark2005

PCmark2005 tests a number of important items in today's computing world. File Compression, Encryption, Decryption, Audio Conversion, Web Page Rendering, WMV Video Compression, DivX Video Compression, Physics Calculation and 3D, Graphics Memory etc.

PCmark05 gives us an indication on how the system performs with effects from the bus system.

From the results, we can see the difference in results of pairing it up with an external or using the internal graphics. With the integrated, we get a score of 3419, this is largely due to the fact that 3D scored lower in the test.

As for pairing with the ASUS 7600GT, it scored 5080. As it uses a PCIe x 8 interface, this could have some impact on the score. We see a difference of 2.3% against the highest 590 SLI boards.
