ASRock ALiveNF4G-DVI
Lately, ASRock seems
to be coming out with lots of variations of the AM2 mainboards. In the past
weeks, we have reviewed a number of boards based on VIA, ULi chipsets for AM2.
Today, we take a look at ALiveNF4G-DVI, a AM2 board based on the old chipset
NF6100 (Northbridge) with 410 (Southbridge).
The ALiveNF4G-DVI supports dual channel DDRII-800/667/533 with 4 DIMM
slots with a max capacity of 8GB. It comes with 2 PCI, 1 PCIe x16 and 1 PCIex1.
The board comes with integrated NV44 graphics DX9.0 VGA that supports Pixel
Shader 3.0. It can used up to a max. shared memory 128MB. The board is NVIDIA®
PureVideo™ Ready for accelerating video clips. Most importantly, the board has a
dual VGA output port. - it supports DVI-D and D-Sub ports by independent display
controllers.
The board also supports 2 SATA
II 3.0Gb/s supporting RAID 0,1, JBOD, NCQ and hot plug functions. There is Fast
ethernet, a 7.1 ch VISTA premium level HD Audio using the ALC888 audio codec.The board is Windows®
Vista™ Permium Logo Hardware Ready and AMD LIVE! Ready.
