Performance

The Volari 8300 Ref card is a version 3.01.130D and has a BIOS version of CX 7.5 (25.00)00. Driver version used is 6.14.1.3010 dtd 2 Nov 2005. Unlike ATi or NVidia, XGI driver do not have options for you to set any AA or AF modes. So everything is tested as default.

Using a FX-53 processor with 1GB of RAM running on a Foxconn GF6150 board, we benchmark it against the internal graphics of 6150. It is also compared to a ATI RS482 internal graphics.

As you can see from the benchmarks below, it seems that the XGI Volari 8300 seems to have amazing results when running the Futuremarks 3Dmark2003/2005 benchmarks. Comparing the data below, the XGI Volari 8300 would be 43% and 36% faster than its nearest competitor, the ATi RS482 internal graphics core.
