Benchmarks - USB Performance (1)

As this is a upcoming chipset to be launched next Thursday, we take a look at the USB performance of the chipset. Using our Vantec NexStar USB HDD enclosure, we hooked it up to the USB port and ran HD Tach and File Benchmark of Sandra 2005 and took note of the performance.

We found that the performance of the M1697 surpasses the NF6150 chipset by almost 20% in Sandra File benchmark.

Below are the results of Foxconn 6150 board for both Sandra File benchmark and HD tach. ULi scored 26MB/s while Foxconn scored 22MB/s.
