Sony Ericsson
W800i Sony Ericsson W800i is the first Walkman GSM triband phone. It is not just another phone but doubles up as a standalone MP3 player. It also comes with a RDS capable radio tuner and MegaBass to add more punch to the music playback. The best of all is that you can channel the audio out to your favourite earpiece or hook it up to your speakers. Similar to K750i, it comes with a 2.0mpixel Auto Focus built in camera for vivid shots. The camera also has 4 x digital zoom, 8 x playback zoom, picture light and a Horizontal Camera User Interface. The W800i comes in the bar form factor. It is almost the same size as my K700i but weighs a bit lighter. The internal is a 262K 176 x 220 pixels colour screen. For entertainment, the phones comes with Java MIDP 2.0 support. There is also Mediaplayer which supports AAC, MP3, 3GP and MIDI playback. It comes with a RDS Radio tuner too. Connectivity wise, the W800i supports Bluetooth, infra red and USB connectivity which I can use to transfer images easily. The phone supports external memory stick duo for storage of multimedia clips. The package also comes with Memory Stick Duo Pro (512MB) and USB cable DCU-60 with new system connector. There is also Adobe Photshop Album 2.0 Standard Edition.
