Samsung SGH-D600
Quad Band 2 mpixel Camera Phone (5)
Conclusion (Pricing) The Samsung SGH-D600 is the first slider phone that incorporates a 2.0 mpixel camera, PiscalViewer, TV-out all into one phone. For the business user, this phone is definitely a good choice as it has all necessary tools built-in. The PiscalViewer is definitely a plus as businessman can now just do their presentation by storing their Powerpoint, Word or even HTML files in the MicroSD card or beam it into the storage of the phone through bluetooth. One thing lacking is WIFI support. In terms of connectivity, Infra red seems to be taken away but you have USB and Bluetooth. That makes transfer of files easier. The bluetooth capability is also easy to use with the various support - Headset, Handsfree, serial port, dial up, file transfer, object push, direct printing. JAR files transfer through the bluetooth is still not so straightforward and you might need some third party software or download it from your own WAP site. The 2 mpixel camera produced very stunning image quality that shocked us. After reviewing so many phones, I would say this phone reproduce the best colours. It could have been better if Auto Focus or even Macro be included. The lens also does not come with a cover, exposing it to dust. Future versions should consider having some sort of lens cover. Samsung has the tradition of leaving out the FM tuner which I feel it shoudn't have. Ringtones wise, the phone supports MMF, MP3, AAC, AAC+ ringtones. In our tests, we found that the ringtones is very loud, way louder than the S410i. Enjoy the music playback of audio files in 3D Surround and 3 different EQ mode at full volume or BT it to your AV headphones. Pros :
