Thoughts

The above are a quick look at the performance levels of the GFX 7800GFX. We can see from the benchmarks that the 7800GFX does bring quite a substantial gain in performance. It is not difficult to see from some of the benchmarks that they are getting CPU bound as the graphics card is not a bottleneck anymore.

Would the cards perform better in the near future. Definitely Yes. We have heard things like NF4 SLI + C19, a Dual North Bridge design that allows two cards to operate in 16x for each card. That would greatly enhance the performance. We are looking forward to that.
