939GT4-STD-G NF4 Mainboard Intro 1/5
Package Jetway might not be a familiar brand to most of our readers but they have been very active in developing innovative products. If you read our Computex 2005 coverage, we brought to our readers attention to this special board which features a 3 slots PCI-Ex16 Mainboard. At first glance, we were wondering how do they support 3 slots? 4+4+8 ? 4+16 ? How is it configured? In the review, we take a look into the board's design and specifications. Jetway 939GT4-STD-G is based on the nForce™4 MCP single chipset and supports the Socket 939 processor. A look at the mainboard shows a single yellow PCI-E x16 slot. From the manual, it is clear that Jetway's design is to simplify installation of SLI. To enable SLI, just install the two cards into the green slots and bridge it using the SLI bridge (not provided in the package). The mainboard supports 3 * 32-bit PCI Slots / 1 * PCI EXPRESS x1 / 3 * PCI EXPRESS x16, 4 * Ultra DMA 133 / 100 / 66 / 33 for expansion. It also comes with 8 USB 2.0 ports, Marvell 88E1111 GbE LAN. Realtek ALC 850 8 ch audio. The mainboard uses embedded OC-CON high-polymer solid electrolysis aluminum capacitors for better overclockability. The BIOS also comes with lots of overclocking options which is definitely something worth a look in the next few pages.
The package comes with rounded cables, CDROM and manual. Specifications
