Benchmarks

In our test, we installed the card onto a 945P system running 1G Corsair DDR2-533 modules. CPU used is a Intel 820D Dual Core with a 6600GT graphics card. HDD used is Hitachi 80G SATAII and Seagate 7200.7 SATA I(NCQ) HDD. WINXP is installed on Seagate HDD while the comparison is done for the SATA II hitachi against the i-RAM using Sisoft sandra 2005 lite file benchmarks, HDtach and PCmark2004, 2005

Below are the results.

PCmark2005

PCmark2005 is a newer version of the popular Futuremark's system benchmark software. Again we check out the HDD benchmarks and we again see that i-RAM is way beyond the performance levels of the SATA II HDD paired with ICH7 SB.
