Introduction
If you read our
Computex 2005 coverage, you would probably have seen this kit before. It was
unexpected that Gigabyte would venture into liquid cooling system. In the past,
I did come across various brands of liquid cooling system but never had a chance
to have a hands on. I find it too cumbersome to install and I am worried about
possible leaks that might kill my system.
Lately, we
received this package from Gigabyte without prior notice. It is the 3D Galaxy
Liquid Cooling system. Upon opening it, I find many different parts for assembly
to make it work. The package comes with a pure copper base, a ceramic bearing
pump which is attached to a reservoir. The reservoir is where you hold the
liquid coolant provided. It comes with
Low water-level (LWP) and over-temperature
protection (OTP).
Clips are also provided for clipping the UV tubing to the pump and radiator.
There is a holder that needed to be installed onto your casing for mounting the
radiator
