Benchmarks

Front Side Bus is still a valid and important criteria when judging systems performance. We measured the FSB and found that the board runs at 200.6. In our overclocking test, we only managed to overclock the board up to 245MHz FSB x 14. The multiplier is not adjustable. When in overclocked mode, the memory is running at Sync 1:1 mode e.g. DDR2-490.

We used a pair of TwinX Corsair DDR2 RAM and runs it at default SPD of CAS 3, 8-3-3 and below are the memory benchmark scores obtained. When overclocked, the memory is actually running at DDR2-490 and we observe that running the CPU to RAM at 1:1 gives a better memory performance compared to running the board on default with a Async setting of DDR2-533 (CPU:RAM=200:266).
