The board comes with 2 PCI, 2 PCI-Ex1 slot, 2 PCI-E x8/x16 slot. Behind the slots are I/O controller chip, Realtek ALC850 audio codec. There is also GbE LAN PHY Vitesse VSC8201. Right below the 2 PCI slots is VIA VT6307 1394 controller chip. At the bottom of the board, we see 4 DIMM slots supporting up to 16GB of DDR2-667 There are 2 IDE ports supporting up to 4 IDE devices and 4 SATA II ports are also supported by the south bridge.

The North bridge is attached with a unique active heatsink with fan blowing from the right. The selector or paddle card for selecting dual PCIe x 8 or single PCIe x 16 is located right below the yellow PCIex1 slot.
