PCmark2004 tests a number of important items in today's computing world. File Compression, Encryption, Decryption, Audio Conversion, Web Page Rendering, WMV Video Compression, DivX Video Compression, Physics Calculation and 3D, Graphics Memory etc.

Comparing the result of 4608 with the rest, the board's performance in this category is average. This is because most of the other boards based on other chipsets are running at a higher FSB or HTT if you wish. If we check with the SiS 756 ref board, Ref board scores 4519 which is lower than the ECS PF88 with A9S attached.
