The board comes with 3 PCI, PCIe x 4, PCIe x4, 1 PCIe x1, PCIe x 16. Towards the centre, we see the power AUX power 8 pin connector. At the centre is the i955X North bridge. To its right is the CPU. The MOSFETs on the top right hand corner of the board is cooled by a fan duct (green). Behind the PCI slots is the Realtek ALC880 HD audio codec and, a Realtek RTL8110S-32 GbE PHY and a IntelPC82537V PCIe GbE controller. Towards the centre you can see the VIA VT6307 1394 controller chip.

Further down, the BIOS is soldered onboard. PF22 provides the TOP-HAT Flash technology which allows one to recover a bad flash by attaching the top hat flash over the dead bios to boot and recover. Furtherdown, we see 4 SATAII + 1IDE channel supported by ICH7R. Two other SATA II ports are supported by SiliconImage Sil 3132 chipset.

The DDR2 ram slots support DDR2-667. Up to 8GB of DDR2 can be supported.
