Benchmarks - 3Dmark2003/3DMark2005

In this category, we tested 3Dmark03. Firstly, we checked the performance with a single 7800GTX card. We noted that the differences is not much. In fact, the KN2 SLI extreme falls a bit behind. When we paired it up in SLI mode, the difference is more apparent with ECS KN2 SLI Extreme leading by 160 points.

In 3Dmark2005, it seems that in both situation, SLI or non SLI, the ECS KN2 SLI extreme falls slightly behind the Jetway NF4 SLI board.

We tried enabling 8xS AA and 16xAF to see what is the impact on the results. Surprising, we see the same trend. So far, we feel that 3Dmark2005 does not seem to be able to tap the power of Dual 16X slots. From the chart below, we still see the NF4 SLI leading by a few points about the ECS KN2 SLI Extreme board.
