Conclusion

The TWIN2X1024-4300C3 is a pair of 512MByte which runs at 538MHz at the low latencies of 3-3-3-8 at 1.8v. With its low latency at CAS 3, it brings better performance than others that are rated at a higher latency.

Although we would prefer low latency, the pair of ram module is able to be 'overclocked' to beyond DDR2-700 in our little experiment using a CPU:RAM Ratio of 3:4 at CAS 4. The interesting fact is that we are running it stable although we are using a non-1066 CPU.

The ram modules XMS2 PRO Series modules include the platinum-colored high-efficiency aluminum XMS2 heatsink, and 24 activity LED’s that show the level of memory activity on each bank. This greatly helps us in determining whether the system is indeed running when it is overclocked. If there is no activity in the ram, we know that we have overclocked beyond the ram's capability.
