Chaintech

At Chaintech, I saw a live demo of the ULI 1695 Chipset, VIA K8T890, NF4 ultra. They had a Desknote Style Chaintech notebook using a P4 desktop processor. Also on show were MP3 players by Chaintech and a MINI PC as well as a set top box for DVB-T/S.

Live demo of Chaintech M1695 System. We have seen the same static board at ULi booth. Model is S1695-2.

It is socket 939, uses M1695+M1567 chipsets. It comes with Hypertransport 1GB/s, 4 DIMM DUal Channel DDR400. It has 1 PCI-E x16, 2 PCI-Ex1, 2 PCI and 1 AGP 8x. 5.1 ch audio and 10/100 Ethernet. 2 SATA 150 with RAID 0 and 1 are supported.
