ASrock P4Dual-915GL Mainboard Review 4/7
Benchmarks - 3Dmark2001SE/3DMark2003 In this category, we tested the DX8 benchmark. The board scored 13339 using the Radeon 9700pro. This score is slower than the real AGP boards but this is to be expected as its AGP interface is reversed engineered using PCI. The difference is ~18%. Compared to the ATi R9100 chipset, the difference is narrower. When we pair up the P4Dual-915GL with the PCI-E 6600GT, we obtained a better score of 16008. Again, the best comparison we have is based on Athlon 64 which could easily achieve this score. As we do not have a Socket 478 board with PCI-E interface, we are unable to compare. In 3Dmark2003, the score is 4723 which is not too far behind the 865PE. In fact, it even outperform the ATI board when paired up with R9700pro. The difference is around 6.7%. Looks like a PCI-E x4 is quite all right. We obtained 8000+ 3Dmarks with the same PCI-E card with Athlon 64 FX-53. Next >>> |
