USB Performance

Using the Vantec NexStar Enclosure, we used a IBM 60GXP HDD and plug into the USB port and tested the file benchmark using Sisoft Sandra and HDtach. Sandra scored 20MB/s ~ 22MB/s which is still reasonable for the USB speed. Using HD Tach, it gives a higher score of 30.5MB/s and a peak of 35MB/s, CPU Utilisation is 4%.
