Benchmarks

Front Side Bus is still a valid and important criteria when judging systems performance. We measured the FSB and found that the ULi Ref board runs at 201.1MHz FSB. Would that have a major impact on the overall performance. We shall see.

CPU Used : Athlon FX-53 with 2 x 256MB Kingston DDR400 modules.

Next we used a pair of Kingston CAS 2.5 8-4-4 modules, forced it to CAS 2, 11-2-2 and ran Sandra memory benchmarks and other benchmarks. The benchmark scored 6093/6140. Among the four boards, the ULi M1689 has really amazing bandwidth scores with probably one of the lowest latency since it uses a single integrated chipset.
