launches P910i smartphone and K500i in Singapore (2)
SE P910i P910i Live Pictures SE P910i smartphone is an integrated platform for the busy executives. It combines a phone, PDA, email and web browser. For the executives on the move, you would be delighted to see the multiple methods of text entry methods this phone supports. It now comes with a thumb keyboard in addition to the usual handwriting and T9. You can also gain access to email services with various providers from IBM, Extended Systems, Visto, RIM BlackBerry, Seven and Intellisync. Based on the Symbian OS, the phone comes with many applications. One such application is the web browser Opera which you can use to surf OCWORKBENCH via GPRS:) With it internal memory of 64M (previously 16M) and includes a 32MB memory stick duo pro, it provides enough memory for the most applications written using C++ or JAVA etc. The P910i also supports up to 1GB Memory Stick Duo Pro, this allows the phone as a multimedia storage machine where the images and sounds can be shared and transmitted to the TV via a Bluetooth adaptor. Bundled within are free or trial editions of Avantgo, Media Viewer, Promyzer, HP runestone for printing direct to bluetooth printers. Wayfinder navigation system is provided which turns the phone into a navigation system thru GPS. The phone will be available in Singapore in Q3, 2004. No price information is given. Specs
