Nokia 6260 is the incarnation of the successful Nokia 6600 phone released one year ago. Similar to the 6600, this series 60 phone based on the Symbian OS has more to offer compared to the 6600. The most important difference is the twistable display. One can use the phone in Work Mode, Browse Mode or Camera Mode.

In Work mode, you can do synchronisation of contacts, calendar, view powerpoint, word attachments using the pre-installed software. In browse mode, which the screen is adjacent to the keypad by twisting the display 180 degrees for a fully functional browse mode. In this compact mode, you can get fast and easy access to the menu, applications and browsing, as well as make and receive calls Mobile xHTML browser gives rich access to Internet pages. IN Camera mode, the screen is rotated perpendicular to the keypad and you can use it like a video cam. Pictures and videos can be taken in Night as well.

Push To Talk technology seems to be picking up as we see more phones with this feature. There is also a Presence-enhanced Contacts for controlling when and how you wish to be contacted. Other features include Voice dialing, Voice commands, Voice recorder and Integrated handsfree speaker.

Ringtone supports 48 chord polyphonic MIDI. The phone also comes with a MP3 player, FM tuner, Real player and an external storage card a 32MB MMC card.
