Gigabyte 8TRS300M ATi R9100IGP Mainboard
Review (7)
Conclusion The Gigabyte 8TRS300M shows remarkable stability and good performance for such a low cost integrated card with good quality video. Based on the R9100IGP, it has changed the concept of integrated boards from a low end 2D desktop board to something that could be used not only for 2D but also for basic 3D games at a fraction of the costs as compared to the Intel 865G platforms or SiS 661 platforms. The board supports AGP 8x, Dual Channel DDR400, Ethernet, 6 ch audio, USB 2.0 and integrated graphics. This board though does not perform excellent in 3D which it was never meant to be, it provides a very good competition to the big players out there when paired up with a AGP card. Overclocking wise, this board does not have voltage adjustments. You can only set the ram timings. In our tests, our most aggressive timing is CAS 2, 6-3-2. If we were able to tune down to CAS 2, 6-2-2 or 5-2-2, I suppose the results will be closer to the Intel ones. Overall, this microATX board is more for those who want a small footprint PC based on uATX form factor boxes. It could also be used as the basis for a HTPC. There are available PC slots for expandability including a SATA card and a TV tuner card. Suggested Retail : Pricing Info Pros 好处:
