Benchmarks

Front Side Bus is still a valid and important criteria when judging systems performance. We measured the FSB and found that Foxconn 925A01-8EKRS runs it at exactly 200.00. That makes our tests simpler as some brands uses overclocking technology to boost scores.

We used a pair of the Samsung DDR2-533 set at CAS 3, 11-4-4 and we scored 4886/4880. If you look at this score, this is what we could achieve using a similarly configured canterwood system. Perhaps it is because of the DDR2 latency and the best is at CAS 3 whereas DDR can be run as low as CAS 2.
