The BIOS
The Advanced
Chipset Features in the BIOS enables you to select the DRAM Configuration,
Auto Configuration which you can select safe, normal, fast, turbo or ultra
mode. The other options available are Fast Write, Aperture Size, AGP
transfer rate and System BIOS cacheable option
In our tests, we set it to Ultra mode.
The DRAM
Configuration has lots of options. In our case, we set the HT to 16 bits
at 800MHz, Max Memclk to 200 to run SYNC mode. The system is set to run at
CAS 2, 5-2-2 (CAS Latency, tRAS, tRCD, tRP). We used the same setting on
other K8 boards tested.
CPU Clk which
is the FSB can be selected up to 232MHz FSB. This is a bit limited but I
think it could be possible to adjust the FSB through some other software
means.
