Benchmarking

Before we benchmark, we document the FSB the board is running at. The FSB of the ECS 755-A2 is at 200.00 exactly registered by the CPU-Z software. This is similar to the SIS 755 Ref board. Do take note that a mere 0.5MHz does affect the scores in various categories.

In the SiSoft Sandra Memory benchmark tests using a single 512M Corsair XMS3500C2 running at CAS 2, 5-2-2 with Vdimm set to 2.65v, we get a score of 3080/3083, this is quite close to the top 2 performers as shown in the chart below.
