Overclocking

This board has a lot of BIOS options which you could use to overclock the board. In our overclocking quest, we used a 3400+ processor and went straight for 8 x 300 running with memory at ASync DDR333 setting. It booted and is very stable with ram running at CAS 2, 6-2-2. Chipset heatsink is hot!

Voltages used : Vdimm=2.8v, Vcore=1.55v, Vagp=1.6v, Vchipset=1.8v

We went ahead and pushed for 320MHz. The board POSTed but was not stable in WindowsXP. We tuned it down to 215, 210 and finally, the best is at 308MHz x 8 with ram running at 205.3 CAS 2, 6-2-2.

Quake 3 went from a low 373fps using Radeon 9700Pro and reached 399.5fps, a 6.25% increase in performance. Finally, we are stable overclocking from 2.2GHz -> 2.464GHz all on air cool. Below are screen shots of the Sisoft, Quake 3 and CPU-Z.
