XGI

XGI has a suite at Hyatt and we saw that XGI also has PCI-E stuff on display. XGI demonstrates their PCI Express technology through a bridge card. The images shows a Volari V8 on their PCI Express bridge board. They said that for this year, bridge solution is available from XGI and for next year, the next generation XG45 with PS3.0 and native PCI Express will be available.

 

HDTV: XGI live demonstrates and compares the difference between the traditional S-Video output from FX5200 and YPbPr output from V3XT. The HDTV output from V3XT shows crystal clear text unlike the traditional TV outputs.
