Benchmarking

In Comanche 4 benchmarks, ABIT KV8-Max3 scores 66.49. As we can see from the chart, both the BIOSTAR boards seems to be well tuned for performance as we can see that BIOSTAR VIA K8T800 chipset is able to squeeze another 1 frame at 67.53. The ABIT KV8-Max scores similarly to the Gigabyte K8VNXP but the ASUS K8V Deluxe seems to be lower at 66.02fps. SOYO K8USA again challenges the fastest chipsets out there and beat them flat with a high of 68.11fps.

In AquaMark3, the ASUS K8V Deluxe leads the way with the SOYO K8USA scoring the 2nd lowest. This is quite an interesting score because we see that it performs very well in 3DMark and Quake3. Looking at the CPU score, it scored 9294 which is the highest among all boards. In the GFX category, it scored 4770, that is probably where it brought the total score down.
