Gigabyte 7VAXP-A Ultra KT400A Gallery (3)
Overclocker 23 Mar 2003

BIOS E2, Advanced Chipset Features setup is probably what most users will access to tweak the system. In our tests, we first set it to Ultra, Manual, CAS 2, 4 Bank, 2-6-2 (TRas can only be set to anything lower than 6). DRAM burst length was set to 8, and the rest are similar to the screen shot above. The problem is the 3DMARK2001SE hangs many times. We later set the Fast Command to FAST and everything is stable, the rest of the parameters set are as above. The PCI bus frequency is selectable from 100Mhz to 250Mhz at 1Mhz stepping. It seems that although there is a display only option of PCI/AGP Frequency, it seems that its derived value is basically obtained by FSB multiply the divider by a ratio. There is no way we can FIX the PCI/AGP to 33/66 as in SIS or nForce2 boards. Perhaps newer bios can do that. If you use a 133mhz CPU (axp2400+), you can choose anything higher than 165Mhz, if you use a 166Mhz CPU, you can choose up to 250mhz.
DRAM Clk can be set to DDR266, 333 or 400. In our tests, we run AXP2700+ at both DDR333 (SYNC) and DDR400 (ASYNC) CPU Voltage can be increase to 5%, 7.5% or 10% higher of default.

AGP Voltage can be increase by up to 0.3v

The same as AGP voltage, DIMM voltage can be increase by up to 0.3v
