Benchmarking

In Windows Movie Maker ver 2, we imported the sample file that comes with the program into it and encode it using a 1.5Mbps video WMV. It took 43.3 to encode the vide which is 0.1s slower but is quite comparable to the other NF2 boards. The difference is too minute.

In terms of rendering, lightwave 3D 7.0b is used. We used the benchmark file Radio-reflective things and rendered one frame. Here are the timings recorded in seconds (the faster the better). As this is more of a CPU intensive program, we see that the ECS N2U400-A performs similarly to other NF2 and SIS 748 boards tested so far.
