ECS L7S7A2 SiS 746 Mainboard Gallery (1)
Overclocker 31 Jan 2002

The mainboard L7S7A2 is very slim and I would say it has almost everything you need on board. It comes with 5 PCI, 1 AGP slots, 1 CNR. It supports AGP 8X, 6 x USB 2.0 (SiS963), IEEE 1394 (optional), Cmedia 6 Channel Audio, DDR400 and UDMA 133/100/66. In addition, this board support overclocking features of fsb at 1mhz stepping ranging from 100 ~ 200Mhz. Both Vdimm and VCore are adjustable at percentages of the default.

The south bridge 963 supporting ATA133, the floppy connector on the left rear of the board. The CMOS battery is mounted vertically next to the PCI slot.

There is a jumper block behind the LAN connector which you could use jumpers to set the multiplier from 5.0x to 12.5x only. For Tbred, you would need to short the two pins to make use of the lower multipliers. It works.

3 DIMM Slots supporting DDR400/333/266/200 modules. There are 4 mounting holes at the CPU Socket so that you can mount your favourite heatsink. Underneath the heatsink of the North Bridge is still the double sided tape. You can now remove it and you would not need to fix it back using adhesive glue.
