Chaintech, one of the leading graphics card manufacturers
released the FX71 card based on the FX5600Ultra chipset some weeks ago. While we
have seen many other 5600FX cards reviewed on the net, we will see how well this
card fares in terms on overclocking and performance.
Something unique on this card is that it makes use of
Gas-Turbine Technology: Exclusive implement of technology incorporated in modern
supersonic jet engines. With maximum air flow and pressure, the heat dissipation
created by GT Technology is up to 30% more than other existing cooling fans
under the same operating condition.
The card is able to be overclock from 400/800 to 460/850. Although the
percentage increase in performance isn't that great, but it could be due to the
design which allows better overclockability of the core and the 2.5ns memory on
board.
