BIOSTAR K8VHA Pro VIA K8T800 Mainboard Gallery (4)
Overclocker 6 Oct 2003

Under Advanced Chipset Features, we set the CAS Latency to 2, then 5-2-2 is set to min RAS active time (tRAS), RAS# to CAS# (tRCD) and Tow precharge time (tRP). The rest are not changed. Max Memclock can be set to operate in various modes. This is in fact the async settings that you are familiar from the K7 days. Setting it to 166 means running the CPU:MEM = 200:166. In this case, we tried and memory performance dipped to 2800 but we can overclock it up to 221MHz. Thus the overclocking bottleneck is the CPU, not the ram.
FSB can be selected up to 250MHz at 1MHz stepping Screen showing the various temperatures of the voltage lines.

During boot up, the screen will show the health information of your CPU temperatures, fan speed etc.
